RHCC has a large backyard with play sets, slides, etc. Patient and knowledgeable teachers, the whole place is monitored with cameras, you have to get through two doors (that can only be buzzed open) and the teachers/aides go through a background check. I like security like any parent so this made me feel comfortable

Did my research before choosing a UPK school for my oldest child. As a first time mother, I was nervous about the decision I was about to make, I did a lot of research and made an appointment to go meet Donna at Richmond Hill Children’s Center. I was more than pleasantly surprised the staff there was fantastic the building is extremely clean and the facilities are very child-friendly.

The staff is always pleasant, attentive and dedicated to helping our children.  We both have noticed a tremendous increase in our children’s academic growth since they started attending this school.  The monthly themes are always fun, creative and hands on.  We love the seasonal projects the children create as well as the charity that takes place inside the school in with which the kids help out

The school’s environment is wonderful in all aspects.  The staff is welcoming, the halls and rooms are bursting with the children’s work, and the level of cleanliness is also evident.  My daughter’s willingness to go to school, because she loves it so much is an added bonus!

– Mr. and Mrs. B

RHCC is a dynamic, safe, and diverse environment that educates students in a developmentally appropriate manner with an emphasis on school readiness.  In business since 2004, RHCC is highly regarded in the community for its supportive and nurturing atmosphere, where students are encouraged to explore investigate new concepts while also enjoying constructive play and reflecting on ongoing lessons…… RHCC is an owner-operated center.  Mr. Denis and Ms. Bak are a consistent presence at the Center, and they know each child and parent by name.  They each genuinely care for the children, and they provide ongoing support and develop opportunities for their teachers.  There is also a very low turnover of teachers and staff at RHCC

As the former principal of an NYC public school and past president of the NYC Elementary School Principals Association, I give my highest recommendation to Richmond Hill Children’s Center.  My grandson Christopher attended this center for two and a half years.  I am extremely impressed with the safe learning environment and educational community that this center offers children.  The curriculum is child-centered and focuses on meeting the individual needs of the children that attend.
